Scheduled Messages
Plan follow-ups ahead of time, reuse templates, and personalize messages with supported variables.
What this feature does
Scheduled Messages let users queue a WhatsApp message to be sent later.
This is especially useful for:
- quote follow-ups
- time-zone aware outreach
- delayed reminders
- staged customer nurture
Template support
Scheduled messages can use the same shared message templates as batch sender.
This creates one reusable template system instead of multiple disconnected template sources.
Variable support
Scheduled message content supports variable replacement for:
{{name}}{{number}}
The system resolves these values at send time using the stored contact context.
What to check if a scheduled message feels wrong
Look at:
- whether the contact actually exists in the local customer store
- whether the selected template uses supported variables
- whether the task status in the task list shows success or failure
Best practice
Use scheduled messages for clear next-step actions, not for complex branching sequences. If a workflow depends on multiple decision paths, keep the first message scheduled and let the next step depend on user response.
